The Journey to the Everest View

Travellers will be beginning their journey from the Lukla that lies at an altitude of 9278 feet. Lukla is also one of the busiest mountain airstrips of Nepal and serves as the gateway to the Everest region. Your journey to the Everest Mountain will continue the lush vegetation of the Sagarmatha National Park, surrounded with an abundance of pine trees, rhododendron flowers and wildlife.

You will be taken through several Sherpa villages namely – Namche Bazaar, Phakding, Khunde village, Khumjung village, Phorte village and several other villages. Every village that you pass will offer you spectacular view of the mountains from different angles. If you are a keen photographer, do not miss out the chance to carry along with you some snap shots. A day of rest in Namche is important in order to be acclimatized to the higher altitudes.
